Community Housing Federation of Victoria

This short course is designed for new comers to the Community Hosuing Sector. It will provide the attendees with an understanding of the sector as a whole, and is the ideal way to induct any staff member, new or experienced, into the sector.

The course will consist of the following modules:

1. Jargon, understanding the acronyms used in the community housing sector
   
2. What is community housing, history and overview of the community housing sector
   
3. Occupational health and safety, the basics
   
4. Dealing with difficult behaviours, key skills for community housing sector workers
